How to care for your Rain Dog Guard
Hook-and-loop fasteners may scratch the main body or other clothing. Please make sure to securely close the hook-and-loop fasteners when washing.
Do not use fabric softener; instead, use a detergent for delicate clothing or a detergent for water-repellent fabrics (raincoat detergent).
Fabric softeners and detergents with a high concentration of surfactants may damage the original properties of the fabric, so please always check the detergent's ingredients.
■When using a washing machine
If laundry detergent remains on the fabric, it will impair its water repellency, so rinse thoroughly (twice) and set the spin cycle to the minimum number of times.
*Always use a laundry net.
■When hand washing
If you only rinse with water without laundry detergent, dirt and oil will remain on the fabric, impairing its water repellency. Always use laundry detergent, avoid scrubbing, and use a press wash. Rinse thoroughly and lightly spin dry.
■Drying / Storage
After washing, please hang dry in the shade if possible. Once completely dry, store in a place away from direct sunlight and high temperatures/humidity.
Maintenance Method
Our products feature highly durable water repellent treatment. Water repellency that has temporarily decreased due to friction or dirt during use, long-term use, or repeated washing can be restored with proper care.
*It may not be restored depending on the frequency of use and the number of maintenance treatments. *Please perform maintenance after washing off dirt and rinsing thoroughly to ensure no detergent residue remains.
After the wear is completely dry, set the iron to a low temperature (max 120 degrees). Place a pressing cloth over the garment and lightly and slowly glide the iron without applying pressure to the fabric. This can restore water repellency close to its original state.
*If the water repellency is no longer restored even after ironing after extended use, you can use commercially available water repellents.

About Crotch Cut Function
Some ALPHAICON dog wear models are equipped with a crotch cut function.
The crotch cut means that while conventional coveralls have a large opening in the belly area for male dogs to excrete easily, ALPHAICON believes that the areas that need to be covered differ for male and female dogs.
Therefore, the belly area, which tends to get dirty during walks, has a double-layer structure. It can be used as is for female dogs, and for male dogs, it can be cut with scissors according to the position. (Utility model registration No. 3162137)
