About repairs

At ALPHAICON, we want you to be able to use your precious clothing for as long as possible.
We offer a repair service.

1) Items to check when requesting repairs

-Repairs are intended to restore lost functionality, but do not necessarily mean that everything, including the design, will be restored.

- Depending on the condition of the repaired item, it may be necessary to change the specifications or use substitute materials.

-The color of the repaired part may vary.

- We do not repair products that have reached the end of their life due to deterioration over time.

・If the specialist department determines that the item cannot be repaired, the item will be returned to you as is.


2) Paid and free repairs

- If the cause of the repair is an issue with our production, such as a manufacturing defect, we will repair it free of charge.

-If any problems occur due to customer use, repairs will be subject to a fee.


3) Items to check when shipping repaired items (please check before shipping)

You will be responsible for the shipping costs incurred when sending the product to us and when we ship it to you.

・Any items other than the repaired item inside? (We cannot guarantee if personal items are included.)

・Please check the dirt on the product. If the product is dirty, smelly, or has loose hair, it may not be allowed to be brought into the sewing factory due to hygiene reasons. If the product is used outdoors, be sure to wash it and remove loose hair on the front and back with adhesive tape. If we determine that washing is necessary, we will include the cleaning fee in the estimate. Please note.

・Repairs are limited to ALPHAICON dog wear.


4) Repair period

- Once the product arrives at our company, it will take approximately 1 to 2 months for the repairs to be completed and the item to be shipped.

- It may take longer than the above period depending on the volume of repair work or delays at the shipping company due to disasters, etc.

Alteration Menu

The following alteration menu is available. Please select the condition of your garment and the alteration menu you would like.

*Zipper repairs are not included in our alteration service.

■Shortened leg length

Target product: ALPHAICON wear (four-legged wear)
*Please note that we are unable to accept Dog Guard Air, Dog Guard Pro, Dachshund size (DXS~L) or Corgi size (CGS~L) due to the structure of the product.

Cost: 1,100 yen (tax included) per sleeve
*Depending on the cut dimensions, shortening may be required. We will shorten the width for an additional 550 yen (tax included) per sleeve.
*We cannot only narrow the width.
*Due to the nature of the pattern, there are limitations to the cutting dimensions depending on the size. If the limit is exceeded, we will inform you at the time of your request.

Repair period: After the product arrives at our company, it will be shipped to the customer in approximately 1 to 2 months.
* We will propose a repair method after confirming the condition of the actual product. Please note that the repair period and estimate will be determined after the product has been confirmed.
*Customers will be responsible for round-trip shipping costs.


Repairing holes and damaged areas

Target product: ALPHAICON wear
*If we have the fabric in stock, we can use the same color for the alteration. If we do not have the fabric in stock, we may use the same fabric in a different color.
*We do not accept alterations to mesh parts of the Summer Cooling Series, Dog Guard Cool, Super Cooling Vest, etc.
*In the case of Dog Guard Air and Snow Dog Guard, the outer and inner linings are sewn together, resulting in the stitching being visible on the surface.

Cost: Varies depending on the size of the hole or damage Small: 3cm x 3cm 1,100 yen (tax included)
Medium 10cm x 10cm 1,650 yen (tax included)
Large: 2,200 yen (tax included) and up, depending on size and damage

Repair period: After the product arrives at our company, it will be shipped to the customer in approximately 1 to 2 months.

■Replacement of leg opening ribs

Target product: ALPHAICON wear
*We cannot accept orders for Dog Guard Air models 2021 and later due to the product structure.

Cost (per item): Varies depending on the size of the clothing.
SS-LL 2,200 yen (tax included)
3L-3XL 2,750 yen (tax included)
*We may not be able to accept your request depending on the usage and condition.

Repair period: After the product arrives at our company, it will be shipped to the customer in approximately 1 to 2 months.
* We will propose a repair method after confirming the condition of the actual product. Please note that the repair period and estimate will be determined after the product has been confirmed.
*Customers will be responsible for round-trip shipping costs.

The process from request to receipt

1. Please make your request via the inquiry form.

・Please fill in the name of the garment you wish to have altered, the size, color, and the alteration you wish to have done. (For shortening sleeves: front sleeve x cm, back sleeve x cm; for repairing holes: repair area, x cm x x cm)

Please fill in as much detail as possible. If we determine that the item cannot be repaired, we will contact you.

We accept inquiries 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
We will respond to your inquiries from 11:00 to 17:00, excluding weekends and holidays. Depending on the situation, we may respond on the next business day.

2. Please send the product according to the following details.

*There is no designated delivery company. We accept prepaid shipping.
Please be sure to email us the inquiry number written on the shipping slip. If you do not contact us, your package may be returned.

After checking the product, we will inform you of the repair method and provide you with an estimate.

Normally, it takes about one month for the product to be shipped to you after it arrives at our company. Depending on the congestion situation, we may not be able to respond immediately.

3. Once the repair is complete, we will ship the product to you.

Repair fees will be paid by cash on delivery. Cash on delivery fees (330 yen) and shipping fees will be borne by the customer.
After receiving the product, please check that the product contents, repair details, etc. are correct.
